Racism

Racism to me is hatred by one person to another person as well as the belief that one person lesser than another person. Race is, to me, more than just skin color. Culture and one’s lifestyle play a role in race. Race!. I do not believe that race separate us from one other but I do believe that people in America make race just matter of color. A few of Americans believe that is a main cause of human skills as well as power. I believe that most people in the society act as though people of ethnic diversity are indirectly inferior to that of the Caucasian race. Even I have thought that Caucasian people hold the power and that is must be good to be Caucasian because there is only a small percent that are low income compared to minorities. Most react to people with a different color in a different way simply for the reason that their race is different. This may make those subjected to this behavior feel people feel like they are inferior or less than equal.
Just like people can perform race to another so can establishments do the same. Establishments can perform in methods that can be obviously racist especially to people with a different color when they are a custom. For example when one black and one Caucasian walk in to a store they sales representative will ask the Caucasian if he wants anything and how can he or she can help. While the other sales representative will be watching out for the person of color if he or she will steal something and will not ask if he/ or she needs help.
Racism is everywhere and very hard to notice when one culture makes another culture feel less than they are. Racism can also be considered a form of hate. The question then becomes can someone truly hate another human being; considering the fact that hate such a strong word. Hate or racism is more than just words; it can be an action. I believe that most people that are doing racist things because they hate their color, beliefs, values, or culture and do not understand what hate really means. If people were to look deep down inside they will see it not hate but just different. I believe that those who practice hate are not opening their minds to the possibility learning and loving those around them
